Effective 07-01-2008 the IRS has passed new regulations concerning how Tax Preparers, Accountants and Tax Firms send client data.  As a protection and preventative measure we are changing certain data to protect YOU our clients.  This will ONLY be for SECURE emails and NOT ALL communications.   Just for your Information!! Effective 08/01/2008   We will be installing a security program on certain E-Mails that will secure and protect your private data!!   We will be able to provide a copy to any financial institution for your benefit of present and prior year returns.  There is a cost to provide these services. 1. Copy of Present and Prior Year Returns 2. Copies of W-2 Forms and 1099 Income   We are REQUIRED to have your permission on FILE in our office prior to transmitting ANY data. When we send a COPY of your personal data, copies of tax returns, copies financial reports and other personal or business data from or to the IRS, States, Banks or other financial and business realted institutions, we will encript your data to protect you, the client,  and to assure privacy.

This will require  that YOU assign an electronic PASSWORD of YOUR CHOICE to receive this data.  This will take you just a minute but will protect your personal data. This is done ONLY when you receive a SECURE email.   This is just an advance notice of Pace Tax & Accounting making some additional changes to protect your data that could be requested from our office.   YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DO ANYTHING!!
